Job Costing

The Job Cost Module allows publishers to estimate, budget, account and report on all elements involved in product or job production. The module delivers full job cost accounting and analysis, as well as multiple project budgeting. It also eliminates duplication of effort, as it is fully integrated with all S3-CISPUB^TM financial modules.

The Job Cost Module is flexible and easy to use. It provides a broad range of standard codes and categories, which are user-definable. Unit costs can be tied to receipt of inventory layers or to the adjustment of unit cost within an existing layer of inventory. Setup of job cost similar-products can utilize past code and category formats with the Job Modeling feature. Users can also create categories as they go and view a list of all products tied to a specific job.
