Royalties

Author relationships are perhaps a publisher's most important assets. The new complexity in publishing is reflected in the difficulty of efficient, timely and accurate management of royalty tracking, calculation and payment. S3-CISPUB^TM allows your system to exactly mirror each royalty contract. This accomplishes three important things:

1. Positive author relationships are supported because royalties are paid in a timely manner, are not under-paid and royalty statements are easy to read and understand.
2. The myriad of ways royalties can be over-paid are eliminated, including permitting reserves for returns, trapping discounted and other special sales and accumulating associated products in common break tables.
3. Royalty processing is automated, saving time and money with no loss of accuracy or control.

S3-CISPUB^TM offers sophisticated royalty tracking. Basic Royalty calculations can be done during system setup with additions being made as new provisions are needed. S3-CISPUB^TM then automates your royalty process, automatically tracking all transactions that impact each contract. Author payment is simple and tracking complete with statements and disbursements reports generated as needed.

In addition, S3-CISPUB^TM manages all provisions devised by the creative acquisitions department, allowing flexible rates structures and calculations. Statements are processed with ease and done accurately the first time.
