Subscriptions
The S3-CISPUBTM Subscriptions System is a completely integrated component, delivering full functionality to support the complex needs of customers who buy printed, electronic, cd-rom and service products.
With an easy to use customer service interface, the S3-CISPUBTM Subscriptions system is unsurpassed in it's ability to improve the customer relationship and help generate higher revenues from the Subscription line of business.
A growing area of many publishers' business is paid subscriptions.
It also carries a unique set of management and control requirements, making profitability a difficult goal to achieve.
The S3-CISPUBTM Subscription Module is designed to automate the processing, tracking and reporting of subscription activity and accounts for the many nuances that can make it a disproportionate burden on accounting and support personnel.
For example, the Subscription Module is flexible enough to support even the most unique parameters of subscription terms, payment types, rate, renewal options, advance renewals, late renewals, group or multiple copy distribution, agency sales, multiple publication periods, complimentary tracking, etc.
The S3-CISPUBTM Subscription Module automates tasks such as distribution, renewal requests, shipping, promotional handling, free copy tracking, etc., and is easy to use.
For example, customer and subscriber files are integrated, subscriber and customer A/R are integrated, inventory of subscription products is handled through same inventory files as all other products and sales analysis is integrated with order entry, direct mail and inventory control.
This level of integration allows the same people who handle your current accounting, inventory and customer service to handle subscriptions in much the same way they work now.
