S3 Publishing Technologies, provider of enterprise software for publishers, and Acatech Solutions, Inc., a widely used warehouse management software vendor announced today, their strategic alliance agreement, providing publishers and distributors with fully integrated Order Fulfillment and Warehouse Management systems / workflow.

The first installation of this interface is in its final stages at Harvest House Publishers, one of the largest Christian book publishers in North America. They anticipate going live with the interface upon completion of their new, 64,000 ft² warehouse near the end of May 2002.

The interface will seamlessly combine the best of both software packages, connecting S3-CISPUB^TM's robust order fulfillment and management, subscriptions and standing orders, accounts receivable accounting, credit management, job costing, royalties management and sales analysis tools to Acatech's Warehouse 2000 - Extended Application Suite (EAS), for inventory management, asset management, radio frequency (RF) data collection, directed receiving, put-away and picking, cross-dock, built-in cycle counts and returns management. Warehouse 2000- EAS can also be integrated with shipping manifest systems, conveyor and pick-to-light systems, and scales to further optimize your distribution and warehouse operations.
